JIS B 8411:1989 (R2017)

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the method to test the performance of air preheater, whose heating surface is composed of metal, of an exhaust heat recovery equipment to be used for the industrial combustion equipment using solid, liquid and gas fuels. Furthermore, the subject of this Standard shall be those meeting the following conditions. (1) The air preheater shall be of a heat exchange type. (2) The heat source fluid shall be composed of only the component of exhaust gas produced when burning fuel and be free from mixture of dust and corrosive component from the outside.
